NV Chandon étoile - Has light-intensity aromatics of nuts and toast with almost a beer-like note. Medium acidity structures quite simple nutty flavors. The finish is a bit clipped and slightly sour. Not a bad or unpleasant wine but deficient in grace and beauty. B-/B. Maybe more fruit would come out with air. I’ll check back tomarrow.
I had the rose version and was disappointed with the QPR. Not bad, but nothing exciting either.
