My new (to me) favorite house for affordable and delicious bubbles.

  • NV Champagne Savart Champagne Bulle de Rosé - France, Champagne (5/17/2014)
    I really like Savart’s bubbles. This one is quite a mouthful. Packed with tart grapefruit and tart red-fruit flavors. There is terrific energy to the bubbles; they really scour across the palate and a bready, toasty aftertaste lingers. An excellent match with the Fri night fried chicken at The General Muir.

Never tried Savart, but one of my friends at Crush convinced me last week to order a mixed case.

Looking forward to sampling my first bottle later this Summer.

Yes. The Crush crew is big on savart.
Hard to find it outside of Crush/NYC and several shops in the NW.
Got some from Envoyer back last year but it didn’t last long.
Good stuff.
