A wee BloodyPulpit:

  1. I have, of course, followed DougNalle’s Zins from the very start. They are made in a more restrained style, always have been, that is starting to become in vogue again. Yet way far away from those abominations of the early '80’s known as “food wines”. The Nalle Zin, along with the DryCreekVnyd Zins, are, to me, the epitome of DryCreekVlly Zin, w/ their intense Zinberry character. This Henderlong was a very structured Zin, much along the lines of many of the Ridge LyttonSprings Zins, but not the complexity and the DraperPerfume the Ridges show. I suspect it has a good many yrs afore it.
