TN: Lini 910 Lambrusco Metodo Classico 2002

I probably hadn’t had Lambruso in 25 years but had an accidental glass of this at dinner last week in NYC which prompted me to buy two or three bottles. Opened one this evening at home with sushi.

A full-ish nose of apple skins, salt with a hint of figs and pepper

Round, full and fleshy on the palate with a decently long finish, maybe a little simple but certainly pleasant. It stood up well to the sharpness of the wasabi and ginger with the sushi. The one issue I have is the price - at $32 I won’t be buying too much more, at $20 I’d be reloading without a thought.

Cheers
