I have had a lot of premox problems with the white Mouches.
The night I decided to get rid of most of my white Burgundies, was when I went down to the cellar, brought up three different bottles from three different producers, and all three were premoxed. The first bottle was the 2004 Mouches.
Had some great luck with the 02 Blanc and Rouge, but particularly the Blanc. Had a 99 rouge that was disgusting. As an aside, Went to a famous 3 star in Paris and ordered the Rouge (vintage?) for dinner. Sommelier stopped by the table and said I noticed what you ordered for dinner and think you would prefer a red… I said I agree, and that’s why I ordered the rouge. Red faced he was, sine he had forgotten they make both and both were on the wine list. A proud moment for the ugly American.
