Gamba 2007 Moratto Vineyard Old Vine RRV Zinfandel
We tried the Gamba Estate Zinfandel night before last and then the Moratto Vineyard last night. The Estate was good but the Moratto was scrumptious (professional wine decriptor [basic-smile.gif] )
No decant, Popped & poured
Inky purple and full-bodied. This wine is delicious with loads of blackberry jam, black cherry, liquer, spice and mocha. Perfectly balanced, you would never know it was 15.9%. A real Zinfandel lovers Zin IMO.
