TN: Domaine Edward, Aux Main D'Argent, 1990

I’m new here. [imnewhere.gif] I hope this is the right place for this tasting note.

TN: Domaine Edward, Aux Mains D’Argent, 1990.

An older offering, but a good one. The presentation is almost gothic in its darkness. Some green/topiary notes in the aroma, but it shows amazing deppth on the palate. The use of stainless means this baby was not over-oaked. I did detect a tiny bit of cutting acidity on the finish, accompanied by lingering freshly-sliced pain grille.

Tasted Friday, March 13th.

You’ll notice that I made p*in grille a censored word - it now reads ‘toast’. [dance.gif]

In any case, congratulations on opening wine already!! You go!!!

I’m so embarrassed. I really have been trying to learn the ropes. [blush2.gif]

I had also heard there was less censorship on this board than on some other boards (can’t remember the names, though). But, rules are rules.

I’ll try harder. [shrug.gif]

Cute, Jacki…cute.

Have some more toast!

Thank you, Sir. May I have another?

Too subtle, Bob. [dance2.gif]
