Outstanding young village wine. Really shines in the texture department. This falls on the rich side of the spectrum, with enough acidity and tannin to give the wine shape. Lots of ripe berries in the nose and mouth. A great blend of red and dark fruit flavors. Nose takes on added complexity with a hint of mint and other fresh cut herbs. Not in a scary green way.
Captivating aromatics. Again, really strong stuff for a village wine. Depth in the mid-palate. Rich fruit, but then the acidity kicks in to firm up the wine and then carry through black cherry and raspberry flavors through a long, intense finish.
Textbook Gevrey. This is the more rugged, wild side of Burgundy. Could be 1er Cru in quality.
