TN: Dom Ruinart 1990 Blanc de Blancs

Boy this is good…a relatively light gold color for a 19 year old, with a super nose of butterscotch and a hint of pepper. The palate has depth, hints of cream with a finish of lemon curd and plenty of persistency. Absolutely top-drawer. A slight hollowness may suggest that there’s more to come but that’s nit-picking and wouldn’t stop me from opening another. flirtysmile

P,

Absolutely love the 1990 Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs. The 85 has also entered a sweet zone right now. It is very hard to resist opening more and more of this.

Ruinart, especially their BdB doesn’t get the respect it deserves and is strangely overlooked. The '96, while currently youthful, will also be a great champagne.
