Devil’s Corner Pinot Noir Tasmania 2007 produced by Tamar Ridge Estates
Hey I’ve never had a Pinot from Tasmania so what the hay? I think this was in the $15-20 range. Translucent red, nice cherry spice nose. Fairly thin on the palate, tart dark cherries. In summary:

I met a girl from Venus, and her insides were lined in gold
Well, she did what she did said “How was it, kid?”
She was politely told
“Pretty good, not bad, I can’t complain
But actually everything is just about the same.”

I would pretty much agree that there is nothing special about this Pinot. It does smell and taste like Pinot. For me, it did not have enough fruit.
