I make a “negociant” wine too. It’s hard for me to take off my business hat 
and recommend a competitors negociant wine, but man that 2008 Cameron Hughes Lot 189 Stags Leap Cab is ridonkulously good for $22. Rich, sweet, plush, long, just a crowd-pleaser if I ever saw one. Who is this guy and how can I get him to sell me some juice?

He just sent out a messge about Lot 211 that looks promising, 2008 Napa Cab. 3,100 cases so no rush. looking forward to some third party notes on it.

I recently had the Lot 100, also from Stags Leap and found it very simple. Not bad in any way, but somewhat uninteresting. Will pull out a 189 the next time I head to my wine locker.

I’ve now had several. There is definitely some bottle variation. I had one the other night that was rather pedestrian, but when it’s good it’s great!
