Un des échantillons les plus clairs, paille, avec des notes de vert pâle.
Senteurs aériennes d’acacia, de pomme Granny, de réglisse blanche, d’anis, d’épices, sans doute un peu simples et pubères, mais d’une fraîcheur remarquable.
Si la présentation aromatique est sobre, le vin impose une droiture, une force vitale, une colonne vertébrale d’une rigueur absolue : impressionnant, il se pose en bouche pour ne plus en bouger… Quelle force ! Le tout sans sur-jouer, dans la plus grande finesse d’apparence, un déroulé cristallin et une longueur qui vous font passer au vin suivant sans en avoir réellement fini avec lui…

Olfaction quelconque, un peu curieuse, mêlant poire, épices, menthe, chlorophylle, le tout couvert de bois.
Matière sans éclat aromatique ni structurel, stérile, alcoolisée (Chassagne ?), qui s’effilochera au contact de l’air.
Commentaire de Didier (qui participe aux 2 séances) : “décidément, les vins de Jadot ne résistent absolument pas à l’air !”.

Yeah, we get a bit short changed with top option wines for the year, but I have had good success with some VP’s and there are a few really good Aussie wines also from '67.

Agree with the '67 Yquem (although the bottle we had in September was still very good - had it for 15 plus years) - I must say I am still looking for that miracle light bottle!

I used to be the youngest guy…. I participated in my first offline with Cole Kendall in ‘98. As I recall Charles Murray was there as well. Having a passion for wine have enriched my life beyond my wildest dreams. I have made so many great friends. I am truly blessed.
