A worthy wine consumed after a good days photoshoot. Simply opened & the contents enjoyed. There is none of the (that I can come across) 4/10 year shut down period with this hot vintage. Just be aware not to drink this too cold.
Deep burnished gold. There is the slightly ‘Sherried’ notes on opening but otherwise it is otherworldly & revolutionary with its honeyed, floral & nutty notes which carries the weight of expectation perfectly. Beautifully rich fruit with considerable depth follow all rounded off with a superb long, porn star finish. This has fattened out nicely and £35 well spent. Delicious & my favourite vintage of this classic. 13.5%vol. 93pts
