TN: A weekend of meh . . .or worse - Rhys, R-M, Henriot

Not that I disagree with the TN or have the slightest interest in experimenting with a bottle or '10 R-M SC Pinot, but age has a way of changing primary flavors…kinda the whole purpose of cellaring.

I had the 2008 Sonoma Coast recently and found it to be very sweet and dripping with cherry.

First Rivers-Marie pinot I’ve had, so I can’t help there. But based on this example I don’t think I’ll be rushing out to buy more.

Rivers-Marie wines are polarizing. Many love 'em, others do not. Nothing wrong with that IMO. How boring our hobby would be if we all liked the same things.
