1995 Robert Chevillon Nuits St. Georges Les Bousselots (13.5% abv)
Forgot I had this in the cellar, and was a bit leery, but it showed well. Cloudy medium red color with a hint of bricking. Fresh and dried strawberry and fresh and dried cherry on the nose and palate. Also berry compote, hint of funk. Medium bodied, nicely structured with acidity, medium to long finish. Day 2, bit of spice showed up; turned slightly astringent but not overly so. Overall, not super complex, but quite enjoyable. Score: B+.
