Cerasuolo d'Lodi! 68% Zin, 32% Cinsault...deep red cherry color ala Cerasuolo or Tavel...pretty substantial ripe and crunchy wild redberry fruits...raspberry/strawberry/crancherry...crunchy youth, with a bright snap of sour skin acidity. Pretty good balance and very structured for a "Rose"...does show the slightest of alc bite, but doesn't distract. More like Tiberio...but there is a wonderful vineyard funk earthiness ala Pepe showing...herbs, slight tar, cinnamon, white pepper spice...love the dryness of the red licorice...salted crushed minerality...florals...chill and drink it poolside...FANTASTIC effort!
