TN: 2024 Goodfellow Family Cellars Pinot Noir Berserker Cuvée

I took one for the team.

2024 Goodfellow Family Cellars Pinot Noir Berserker Cuvée

Dry farmed Temperance Hill and Durant Vineyards. 18 months elevage in new and neutral 500L puncheon. 13.2% ABV

Pop and pour into a Grassl Crü stem. Quick swirl releases slow and fat legs down the glass. Scarlet colored and translucent.

The attack is tart cranberry and pine sap followed by more of a fresh cut redwood note. Fruit is delicate sour cherry through the finish and quite long with garrigue, mostly rosemary, and bay leaf. Mouth watering from the acidity and an underlying teaser of white pepper.

Thanks Brig, bottled late last month so….probably pretty tight even for our wines :clinking_glasses:

I’m eyeballing the B17 Chardonnay right now…

This way there’s one less bottle to put away.

Nice notes but overall thoughts on the wine?

Excellent. I’m a cranberry / tart fruit PN guy that enjoys the acidity.

I drink lots of different PN styles but that’s my preference and this hits the mark, solidly.
