Some school of thought this is one of the very best Moss Wood Cabernet releases. It is very good.
- 2023 Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon - Australia, Western Australia, South West Australia, Margaret River (5/4/2026)
Such a vivid purple. Bright and punchy nose of perfectly ripe briary fruits, mint, cedar and violets. The palate is deep and glossy. It is layered with flavour and creamy through the mid. Tannins are perfectly ripe and supportive. Length is superb.

It’s been so long since I had a Moss Wood Cabernet. Always liked them, but I never see them around. Thanks for the note/reminder.

We represent Moss Wood in Quebec, Canada and agree that these are really excellent wines especially for the price. I have also found recent vintages show better purity of fruit and as mention a lot more polished. These age incredibly well as well…

Absolutely one of the finest Aussie CS. They have this black olive note that I see in some top Bordeauxs and yes they age effortlessly. 90, 91, 95 just super wines. A couple of weaker wines in mid naughties, but by all accounts they’re right back in form. Thanks for the note.
