And yet another example of Mike O’s / Carlisle’s secret super power is their whites. Fantastic domestic Gruner (or we can just drop the domestic) that shines with sugar snap peas over a lemony base; great cleaning acidity with just the appropriate cut and some touches of stone. The playfull sweetness closes the deal. Fantastic with turmeric and brown sugar rubbed steelhead, vermicelli with a creamy cashew, basil, and lime sauce and sautéed green beans. Winners all around!

Thanks for the note, Dale. We received ours last month and have not cracked one open yet, but there is one in the refrigerator when we get the urge. My wife loves all of the whites that @M_Officer makes, especially the Gruner.

Great note. I’ve already enjoyed the first bottle I’ve had a glass from, and I’m looking forward to following this wine over the next few years. I don’t anticipate my little stash lasting too long.
