TN: 2021 Domaine Baudry Chinon Les Grezeaux [2021 Le ClosGuillot added]

Hard to pass on 2016 at any age! I’m like you I hardly have any 2009 or 2010, but I think you know I bought a lot of 2014. I also pretty much skipped 2015 and 2018, not fan of those vintages at all. I’m going to avoid tasting 2022. I’ve got enough temptation in my life! Backfilling is the key to wine Bliss at our age!!! as if we need any more wine anyway

I think we have enough Baudry fans on here to start a ‘What Baudry are you drinking tonight?’ thread. Slumming a bit with the 2023 Les Granges, but this is delicious. Got that pyrazine that we love when it’s right, and a touch of brett but this is the good funk. Crunchy brambly Cab Franc goodness!

I just had Grezeaux '20 and '21 side by side the other day. I’d had both before and, based on those initial impressions, came in expecting to have a relatively clear preference for the '21. It was actually the other way around, although really by the smallest of margins. I think the '20 has developed just beautifully over the last year or so.
