2020 Guy Breton Régnié Beaujolais
My 2nd bottle and last. Lighter ruby color with some cloudiness. Only a very slight sediment. Carbonic fermentation. Bottled unfiltered with minimal intervention. 100% Gamay from 40-50 year old vines on granite soils. This was a fruitier wine with cola, raspberry and minerally notes. I’ve had a dozen wines from this Gang of Four producer over the years and much prefer his Morgon. Drink now. 88 points.
