TN: 2019 Trathen Hall Sauvignon Blanc (USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley)

  • 2019 Trathen Hall Sauvignon Blanc - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley (5/23/2021)
We don’t drink sauvignon blanc much, and this is our first from Oregon which came from Trathen Hall’s BDXII deal.

Consumed from a Zalto Universal. Very tropical aromas of ripe mango, passion fruit, candied papaya, grapefruit, and a touch of lemongrass. Almost has this cereal milk-like aroma, my wife thought it was kind of like Fruit Loops. Crisp and playful on the palate, really enjoyable on this hot late spring day. (91 pts.)

Gave this a try tonight. So much grapefruit! And some.lemon and lime. Good stuff.

We’re entering our hot late spring days here. Sounds delightful. SBs are fun porch drinking wines while strumming a guitar.
