2019 Dureuil-Janthial Rully Maizières - France, Burgundy, Côte Chalonnaise, Rully (11/12/2024)
Fairly dark color, on opening there’s a bit of sulfur stink, but that cleans up quickly with air to reveal lightly spiced pine needles; some nice medium intensity on the palate, darker berry fruit with a brightness provided by nice acidity, good moderate structure. Plenty of interest here, really enjoying this. (91 points)

Thanks Alan. Really like these wines. Were freely available a few years ago, now though the market has cottoned on to how good they are. My 2010s are humming along nicely.
I’m late to the game with this producer. Bought a couple of years ago to have a look, just now getting to it. And a bit too late, as you say ![]()
Love these, as everyone seems to. I love the reds every bit as much as the whites. An 09 Rully Rouge was superb the other day. And it cost me all of $35 earlier this year.
