I have not seen any offers for 2019 LPT.
The advertised prices for 2018 are 15% higher than what I paid.
No clue what release pricing will come in at from the importer, but if there’s a substantial markup, it’s coming either from them or the retailer.

Woodland Hills, Vinfolio, Flickinger and a couple others have the 2019 on pre-arrival for $250-350. Seems crazy high.
I agree the 2018 and 2017 have been available in the past year in the $150-170 zone.
Can you link the public apology? I’d like to go back to buying Montevertine, I don’t spend anytime researching the political/social views of winemakers, and am sure there are probably others whose wines I love with views I abhor. In this case I know the views, so can choose not to give any of my money to him (even indirectly). I do still have some older Montevertines, which I enjoy taking to fundraisers for racial/economic justice.
Thanks for the suggestion. I have been buying Caparsino and really like the base Chianti Classico. I’ll be looking for Mimma as well now.
Thanks for sending. Google Translate truly leaves something to be desired.
I will not fault anyone who chooses not to buy Montevertine because of some coarse (and I think xenophobic/racist) political comments made on social media in 2014 - I don’t honestly remember any details and was unaware of any controversy until last year. Manetti apologized - what he believes, or did then, and his contrition or lack thereof, are important to many people.
