No. 2017 is not like 2013 (though I like 2013 more than you do).
After reading some of the positive reviews of Selbach from Howard, David and others, I saw the basic '17 Riesling Kabinett on the shelf today and picked it up. Opened it today and wow! For $21 USD, an absolute steal.
Thanks for these notes - I’ve got to get my hands on the single-vineyard stuff, because this is great.
