TN: 2017 Georges Noellat Bourgogne (France, Burgundy, Bourgogne)

Damn, ain’t this a nice 30€ Bourgogne. Hard to find anything to complain about but most of all I really dig the style and the vibrancy, need to try pricier bottlings from this producer.

The nose is super delicious, bright and detailed with sweet dark cherry, forest floor and granite and just a hint of VA. On the palate medium-bodied and expansive with quite nice structure and lively acidity. Focused and firm yet with wonderful drinkability. Has excellent ripeness but is definitely savory, with a stemmy quality to the finish. A super classy wine that totally delivers for the price.

Nice. Thanks for the note. I haven’t tried him yet but I did take a flier on some 2019 BR, VR and VR LPM last year. I will definitely go back for more when the 2020 is released this fall.
