I’ve been impressed by Gamba as of late but don’t see them mentioned here very often.
Purple in color. 15.5% ABV. Sublime nose of jammy red fruits, licorice and pepper. Full bodied with perfect acidity and tremendous balance. Packed with bright, sweet fruits. Boysenberry, raspberry liqueur, baking spices and pepper on the palate. Exceptional length on the finish. Absolutely delicious Zinfandel. Hard to ask for more. Best over the next 2-3 years.
