2016 Riverain Syrah Cardiac Hill Bennett Valley - USA, California, Sonoma County, Bennett Valley (10/29/2020)
Huh…I had this two months ago. Well, why not have it again! It has real palate richness, but does not come across as sweet. There’s a top note of spice and raspberry, and an undercurrent of gravel and leather. It’s just about perfect for a post work day unwind, and did a good job paired up against my chipotle and black bean soup.

I’m not sure if I had this at a dinner about two years go, but I do remember their Petite and it was delicious. And their 2016 BBS. That, and Steve and Dean are two cool cats…
