2016 Fritz Haag Brauneberger Juffer Riesling Spätlese - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer (5/1/2020)
Day 1: Peaches, slate, pear and honey suckles. A tasty treat but lacks a bit on the acidity component otherwise would be a higher score. Will see how this evolves on day 2 and 3. 91 points
Day 3: Very nice with peach, slate, pear, honey suckles and minerals. Very vibrant wine and a solid. 92 points
Recommendation: Should age for another decade. (92 pts.)

Fritz Haag miiiiight be my favorite Riesling producer (although, that’s subject to change). I’ve yet to have any Haag Brauneberger Juffer Sonnenuhr, or even Brauneberger Juffer, that wasn’t great or better.

2006 Fritz Haag Brauneberger Juffer-Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese
I bought this years ago from Dee Vine Wines on a really good sale and was amazing. I have never had a bad Fritz either.
