Just popped another, my fourth. This is an excellent Geyserville. I’ve read, out of curiosity, most of the critics’ notes, and interestingly, only Jeb Dunnuck calls it what I was thinking today: elegant. More claret-like than the more recent Geyservilles, with 2014 coming in a close second. Yea it’s a Zin-blend, so not a wallflower, but I like what I am seeing these past two vintages. I’m going back for another sixer. (92 pts.)
What do you pay for it?
$30 by six pack.
Well damnit. Why’s it cheaper everywhere than it is atlanta.
I have had this wine twice in the last two weeks and it is an outstanding Geyserville. I am also going to reload, even though we have drank several and stashed away a few.
Thanks,
Ed
