2014 Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Les Champlots Blanc - France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Saint-Aubin 1er Cru (8/22/2025)
Popped and poured at cooler than cellar temp. Lovely golden shimmering color. Still a very tight reductive nose, tons of matchstick with a hint of lemon peel and white pepper. Still super tight on the palate as well - lots of limestone, aggressive lemon lime and mouth puckering smoky acidity on the finish. I am going to throw this in a decanter to see if it opens up a bit. Tastes extremely young for an 11 year old St. Aubin.
