2014 La Clarte de Haut Brion Blanc
With a good friend at dinner last night before a TIFF film. Delicious wine, showing extremely well right now. Expressive grapefruit peel and lemon core, but with some breadcrumb, mineral and gingerbread elements as well. Superb balance, nice long finish, it exudes a class that isn’t necessarily common in Semilon (which I believe this mostly is, I think usually 75% with most of the rest being SB).
