2014 Faiveley Latricières-Chambertin - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru (1/13/2017)
Dark cherry red and showing incredible purity. Clean red flavors that are mineral driven. Not showing the complexity yet that it will with time. Energetic. Fantastic finish that is long and shows some firmness after 10 seconds or so. Love this.

Very timely note. I just finished listening to Levi Dalton’s interview of Faiveley this morning. Thanks.
Howard. I think you would love this wine.
Was a nice listen.
Really curious to try their 14’ BB Montrachet.
Don, I’m not surprised that this wine is terrific. A couple of years ago I had a comprehensive barrel tasting of most of Faiveley’s reds (no time for whites too). They were all very pure, silky and intense. Very classically structured. IMO Faiveley did some great work with reds in 2014.
