2014 Domaine Maume-Marchand-Tawse Bourgogne - France, Burgundy, Bourgogne (10/8/2018)
Elegant, complex Bourgogne, with cherry fruit, light oak, herbal and earth tones. Quite interesting for the basic wine. I have to spend 2-3 times the price to get this much flavor interest in California Pinot.

I have only had a few bottles from the current winemaking team, but they have all been very good.

I tasted through their lineup twice at wine house last couple years; my favorites from the lineup were suchots, Bonnes mares, chatelots, and clos des ormes.
