• 2014 Domaine François Cotat (Paul & François) Sancerre Chavignol Rosé - France, Loire Valley, Upper Loire, Sancerre (12/29/2016)
  Has some smoky mineral reduction punching up into the nostrils. There’s a light capsicum herbaceous thread to the wine. Fruits are tart and red. It is compact, direct, lean and crisp.

Agreed. The best rose I have ever had (other than Champagne of course) was from Cotat. Tasted like a slightly more full bodied Sancere.
