TN: 2014 Dirty and Rowdy California "Familiar" Blanc

Smells like mead or cider upon opening.

Big chucks of sentiment floating around. Other D&R white have had significant sediment, but not like this.

60 degrees, muted nose. Taste of apple and pear, a bit of spice.

First glass has no sediment. Fairly clear.

Delicious, almost not wine, but ‘honeydew vine water’ to quote Jimmy Buffett.

11.5%…good, I can have a few glasses! Incredibly enjoyable.

had my first the other night and loved it

Saw one on the shelf at the wine store this morning. Almost bit. Maybe next week.

It opens up quite a bit with time, and serving temp shouldn’t be too cold. I love it!

Thanks for the notes. This is in a really delicious place right now. (also, the '15 will be equally cloudy and chunky.)

Brian, was that locally?
