2014 Deep Woods Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve - Australia, Western Australia, South West Australia, Margaret River (2/19/2019)
This is the Jimmy Watson winner and it is a beauty. It smells of ripe cassis, cedar. lead pencil and sweet tobacco. It is full rich and glossy, with no hair out of place. It builds through the palate and has plenty of savoury nuance. Balance is impeccable and tannins sophisticated. It has great persistence.
