Your note made me want to check in on this again, so a few nights ago I opened another bottle and it was even better than the one in September. I have nothing to add to your note as you nailed it.
While I was drinking the last glass, I got a text from a local wine buddy of mine who said he needed a great bottle of Champagne and asked for a recommendation. I suggested the Cristal and he asked how it compared to ‘12 DP and I said the Cristal is much better. He stopped by the following day and picked up a bottle, drank it that night and he loved it too.
