TN: 2013 Liquid Farm Chardonnay Bien Bien

Tasted today while cooking some Christmas Eve dishes…thoroughly enjoyable!

  • 2013 Liquid Farm Chardonnay Bien Bien - USA, California, Central Coast, Sta. Rita Hills (12/24/2014)
750 ml; PnP; clear yellow color; nose - imagine sitting on the beach in a slight ocean breeze with a bowl of lemon custard in front of your nose. Taste - rich, smooth lemon, custardy but not as sweet, but certainly not bitter. Sightly bready, fairly medium to heavy bodied, especially for LF. Lingers well. Recommended. (93 pts.)

This is a Santa Maria Valley wine, not Santa Rita Hills. Makes an interesting contrast. Wonderful wine, not quite the tension of the Santa Rita Hills wines, but lovely lovely flavors.

I corrected it in CT

Thanks guys for the Bien Bien love! to note! the Fall offering of her sneak peek was to get early access and more access to her - she’s JUST coming into her own and really isn’t going to be show time ready til Spring when we release her and even then - she can DEF spend some time slumbering in your cellar or closet for months (or years to come).

I am generally not a fan of most Cali Chards. Liquid Farm is an exception. Wonderful stuff!

hi and Yes Andy! we indeed ARE playing tomorrow  Look fwd to hooking up some liquid for you!!

Cheers!
