TN: 2013 Drovers Pinot Noir Willamette Valley, Oregon

I popped into Chambers today to pick up some Littorai and got to talking with a great lady named Christina. She recommended this and I took her up on it. $20 and a fantastic qpr.

Nose of pretty strawberries and light lilty blackcherry. Palate shows an amazing deftness of fruits and balance. Pretty much what I signed on for.
Tannins show some chewiness but I deal with chewy nicely. Acidity spot on and now I am looking for a piece of grilled veal. A wonderful food wine this would be. Overall mouth feel shows a very near fragile structure, this has got my attention. I get some rose petals, cola and worn leather. Finish shows some wonderful Forrest floor. I’m sold. I probably over-rate this by 2 so you be the judge. 92 points. Its ‘more’ worthy.

PS : for all you suckers that really seem to care, this is 12%ABV champagne.gif

Not another one I need to sample, new to me. [thankyou.gif]
I cannot find a website for this wine, it must be a proprietary brand for retailers.

It seems that these people make it.
