2013 Dirty and Rowdy Mourvedre Old Vine Rosewood Vineyards - USA, California, North Coast, Redwood Valley (1/11/2015)
A translucent rusty red. Terrific aromatics. Floral and sweet dark fruit. So lithe and delicate, yet it shows a wee bit of earthiness and minerals along with an intense sweet/savory element that is light in weight but expressive. Interesting stuff. Never heavy and nothing out of place. My favorite red wine from D & R thus far. Terrific.
