    First experience with this cuvée. Popped and poured. Medium ruby color. Nose of musky red berrry, earth, violets, thyme, sage. Succulent red and darker raspberry fruit cut with earth, underbrush, iodine, and subtle iron notes. Lovely early complexity and depth. Freshening acidity and serious but filed off tannin. Longer finish of mulberry fruit, stone, and grip. Quite fine. (93 pts.)

Doug, thanks for sharing…I was eyeing a bottle of 2010 of this the other day but opted for a Burg. These wines are really special, but deserve a little time to flesh out as they rest sideways.

Tough choice! Loved the Cameron and would be pumped to try an aged example. Even at my ripe old age I am discovering cool producers.
