Put in bottle by Ravoire et Fils. 14% abv. Label says grapes have mountainside exposure. Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Mourvedre. This was a holdover from last summer. In the glass, a pretty color like the rosy on a peach, sort of a pinkish-coral, with transparency. Slight floral scent (rose petals?) and maybe some strawberry scent. On the palate it is pleasantly tart, bright, acidic, or crisp with the tang of underripe strawberries. I don’t think it has aged or changed much in the past year. I drank it with Welsh Rarebit and potato crisps.
