TN: 2012 Patricia Green Cellars Pinot Noir Reserve (USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley)

  • 2012 Patricia Green Cellars Pinot Noir Reserve - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley (8/27/2014)
Bright ruby, bing cherry nose. Lightly dry with some mineral on the PnP, a little zest on the tongue along with bright fruit and a slight bitter tannin. Drinking well on the fruity side, some cheese and crackers helps balance the flavors. Better on night two, a little cola. (90 pts.)

Had the 2012 PG Freedom Hill a month or so ago and the wine is killer especially for the price!

I still can’t believe I’ve never visited them, despite enjoying their wines immensely.

Come on over.

I’ll be planning a visit soon; look forward to tasting through some of your wine.

Just not in the next 60 days. Gonna be busy a bit.

February was actually a great time to go visit the last time I was there. Jim was an amazing host (this was back when you still had the Madeira-like Chardonnay) and it was (as it always is) the best visit of the trip for my friend Sarah who does wine tours throughout Napa & Sonoma for her work.
