TN: 2012 Limerick Lane Zinfandel, Russian River Valley

This baby is all blackberries and blueberries on the nose. Absolutely stunning. I could almost be happy just smelling this all day without even taking a sip. Almost  The palate does not disappoint with concentrated blue and black fruits, and baking spice, but with enough acidity so that it’s not overpowering.

A fantastic wine, and one that is certain to improve. Glad to have a few more, and I will absolutely continue to be a buyer (amazing customer service as well). For my money, Limerick Lane (along with Bedrock and Carlisle of Course ) are producing some of the best zins coming out of CA.

Agreed. Wait till you try the 1910 old vine bottling!

Great wines all along the line-up. These may be my favorite zins at this point. I keep picking up more of this one whenever I see it.

For anyone who has opened a '13, can you compare that with the '12?

Can’t wait! Finally shipping season here in AZ and I have my orders from the last 2 releases arriving next week. Id say odds are pretty good that I’ll be drinking a LL next weekend
