2012 Domaine Jacques Carillon Puligny-Montrachet - France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Puligny-Montrachet (8/18/2014)
So pure with an aroma of honeysuckle, freshly cut pear, white peach and minerals. It has flesh but is direct and a wine of high fidelity. There is a suggestion of green melon and the wine finishes with outstanding cut.

I want to do this…who makes the best PM…
Louis
Jacques
Francois ???
Jeremy - do you think Jacques has upped the game on the village cf the previous Louis label? I have not had a chance to try Francois, but have enjoyed a stackload of the other Carillons.
Jeremy, what is the distinction you notice between the two brother’s versions?
I just find Jacques’ wines have incredible purity and cut and are stylistically what I love in Puligny. Francois’ makes great wine to be sure but also he does not have any Bienvenues anymore so I give the nod just to Jacques.
Thanks,I can get Francois locally but not Jacques. Enjoyed the Francois so far and have had a lot of the orig except the Bienvenues which i hope to taste someday.
