2011 Vincent Pinot Noir Willamette Valley - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley (5/26/2014)
Drank with baked Copper River salmon tonight which was terrific, the wine was not half bad either. Very light ruby, lightly floral lilac nose. Dry with wonderful acid, bright berry, raspberries, marionberries and a rhubarb note. Light body with just a hint of bitter undertone. Easy drinking and what stands out is the clean acid and freshness. Ready for drinking, a bit like a darker, heavier rosé for the summer. BTW my wife who is a white/rosé drinker gave it her seal of approval! (90 pts.)
