    Very pure and fresh nose of lemons and white flowers. It is tight, lean and focussed with crisp citrus fruits and good minerality. There is a floral edge to the wine and it has plenty of chalk to the finish. They obviously picked this one a bit earlier and it doesn’t have the mid-palate sap of the '10 but it is still terrific for its level.

With the '10 “fresh” in mind from a recent encounter, I too found it hard to appreciate this one.
