2011 Corison Kronos CS - Upon first opening aromas of black olive tapenade and pyrazines (green tobacco).
With time a robust bitterness developed on the palate.
Interestingly the bitterness began on the attack and persisted, with fruit showing up on the midpalate and finish.
The wine had fresh acidity and a cool greenness in the midpalate as well. Certain very fresh, good acidity. With time pleasant violet aromas develop. A touch of mint taste in the last glass.
2021 Morgen Long Marine Chard - Light and refreshing. Stony minerality. Kaffir lime with 30 minutes in the glass. Can sense a touch of Pacific sea climate. More minerality. Would be good with shellfish, shrimp scampi, pasta primavera.
