Opened a bottle of this wine tonight and found this thread.
Nothing “weird” about this bottle at all. It is fresh, vibrant and youthful. Pit fruit, saline and a touch chalky (all in a good way), with a bit of a lemon-peel pucker on the back end. This is a pleasure to drink now. If any of you Copain-heads have a bottle or two stashed away for experimental purposes, there is no need to rush.
